I have a circle facilitator training called Together the same name of this podcast, and my vision is to inspire 10,000 women to start their own women's circle. I am deeply passionate about the magic of gathering women together and women sharing their stories. Sitting in circle my first, over 10 years ago, it has totally changed my life.
"This podcast is a place where I want to share powerful, meaningful conversations with other women and for us to imagine that we are sitting across from each other around a fire in a gathering and connect through time and space. I believe that storytelling is healing, shame melting and pain dissolving and it is an anecdote to loneliness."

"This is not a money maker for me. This will cost me money to make. It feels like a service that I can give. It feels like a free way that people can access my work and my teachings and the power of women's circles. It feels like a place where we can share inspiration and collaborate and create together."

Welcome to Together!
Rachael Rose: [00:00:00] I wanted the first episode of Together to Be a Heart to Heart and an explanation of why I've started the podcast and what my hopes are for this space. So for those that don't know me, my name is Rachael Rose. I am a mother of two daughter and a son, and I'm a Women's Circle Facilitator, a doula, a mentor for moms in business, and a course creator.[00:01:00]
It has helped me reconnect to myself, to my body, to my intuition. It has allowed me. Through the act of hearing hundreds of women's stories to hear my own story reflected in theirs over and over again, which means I have felt less alone. Less broken, less fucked up, [00:02:00] and it's helped me to understand that it's not women that are the problem.
It is living in a patriarchal culture that is hurting and harming us. Sitting in circle has connected me to the seasons and cycles of life. It has connected me to my menstrual cycle. It has inspired me to birth outside of the system and mother in ways that I may not have been able to have the courage to had I not met other women and heard their stories.
And so this podcast is a place where I wanna share. Powerful, meaningful conversations with other women and for us to imagine that we are sitting across each other around a fire in a gathering and connect through time and [00:03:00] space. I believe that storytelling is healing and shame melting and pain dissolving, and it is an anecdote to loneliness.
If you've never sat in a circle, I hope that you feel the call and the courage to seek one out or to start your own. I'll be sharing lots about women's circles in this space. I'll have friends and strangers on as guests, experts, and ordinary extraordinary women. I'll sometimes share my own stories. And I just want you to come away feeling less alone and more loved.
We live in a [00:04:00] world where everything is go, and I run my own business. I have a degree in communications and marketing. The world is very busy. And in the online space, we're constantly told that people have tiny attention spans. Now you've gotta cut your stories down, write tiny little captions, capture someone's attention within three seconds, or you're gonna lose them and you're gonna lose the sale because of course, every interaction is brought back to.
Can I make money out of this person? This podcast is not that. This is not a money maker for me. This will cost me money to make. It feels like a service that I can give. It feels like a free way that people can access my work and my teachings and the power [00:05:00] of women's circles. It feels like a place where we can share inspiration and collaborate and create together.
And one way that I want to counteract this fast pace busyness and encourage you to slow down is I've included a song at the beginning of the podcast by Edwina Masson. It goes for 30 seconds, which is really not that long. But in online world Podcast world, you're meant to have super smooth and quick transitions and you don't wanna lose anyone's attention.
But I do, I want you to hear Edwina's music. The song is called The Feminine Spitfire, and when you start to listen to an episode, I don't want you to skip over it. I want you to listen to the words. It is a call to action for women. It [00:06:00] is reminding us to take up space and to let our voices be heard. And I want you to listen to the lyrics and to take a few deep breaths and to feel centered and grounded in your own body Before you hear these stories, I.
I hope you love the podcast. It is a piece of my heart and it is an honor to share other women's stories, and it's not something I take lightly. I know that it's a really big deal to, to go out to the world with something that is, Maybe private and personal. I'm gonna be featuring birth stories, rights of passage stories, motherhood stories, business stories, and there will be beautiful insights that are shared here.
[00:07:00] And I know my guests. Are going to make an impact on the lives of others. And I also know that it's a really big deal. And they might feel nervous, and I might feel nervous sometimes as a facilitator of these conversations. So I would love to hear from you in whatever way that you can.
